George C. Kitsios
BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY

 

Mr. George Kitsios was born in Agrafa Evrytanias Greece and grew up in Athens.
He started his higher education in Athens University, School of Economics and Commercial Sciences and on July 1981 came to New York to expand his education. First he obtained his Bachelors of Science Degree in Architecture from City College. Then he received his Professional Degree in Architecture from Graduate School of Architecture and Urban Design of the CUNY.

Subsequently he continued his graduate studies at Columbia University of New York, from where he received his Masters of Science in Urban Planning.

During his studies he was the President of the Golden Key National Honor Society of New York, Member of the Advisory committee to president Harleston of the City College of New York and Member of the Building Development Committee of CUNY.

He worked as a City Planner for the re-design and re-development of a section of the City of Cunning, China, supervising a group of 12 architects and engineers. Also he was in charge of an Educational Program between City College of New York and Kenyatta University of Nairobi Kenya.

He spent most part of his life working with buildings as an Architect, City Planner, Builder, Developer or Building manager for the City of new York and Private Clients.

Currently Mr. Kitsios is owner, President, and CEO of the following companies, Global City Enterprises, Inc., Global City Building Design, Global City Building Construction, Global City Realty, Inc., Global City Financial Services, Corp. and Global City Building Management,

Community Services
Mr. Kitsios is Honorary President of the Greek American Homeowners Association in which he offered his volunteer services since 1990 as General Secretary, Board Member and President. He is also the former President of the Greek Children’s Fund of New York. Both of above organizations are 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations.
